MSW, LCSW, IMH-E®(III)

Hi, I’m Erin!

I want to use this “about me” space for potential clients to get to know who I am and how I approach therapy.

I don’t believe that a therapist can ever be a blank slate in therapy. Therapists are also people who are influenced by our past and present relationships. I work hard to remain aware of how my experience of life can impact therapy for my clients.

There are things about my life that feel important to share. I am a mom of two children. I have experienced divorce and the restructuring of a family unit to different homes. I have been diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in 2022. I have navigated these experiences in all the messy ways we tend to do as humans and with much patience and love for myself. Through these experiences, I have also sought lots of support from my therapist and community.

I feel truly privileged to be able to do this work with my clients. I love the stories that people share. I love to delight in the humor that we find in these hard moments. Together, we can experience beyond the limitations that our stories give us and unfold into new possibilities.
